Jamie Hamelburg was recently recognized by One Montgomery Green for the legal services she provides to the county-wide sustainability organization. Press, Dozier & Hamelburg has long had a commitment to working with our community nonprofits. In a recent press release, One Montgomery Green recognized Jamie with the following article:

"Jamie Hamelburg is a business and commercial real estate lawyer with over 20 years of experience. Her firm, Press, Dozier & Hamelburg, LLC is located in Bethesda, Maryland. As a business lawyer, she advises clients on issues ranging from start-up and choice of entity, employment, contractor and client agreements, and operating agreements, among many other services. Jamie also works in commercial real estate, where she drafts and reviews lease agreements and handles landlord/tenant and other property disputes, enabling her to provide effective legal counsel for the myriad legal issues that business owners face. In addition to providing pro bono services to OMG, she also serves the Maryland Women's Business Center and was just named its "Volunteer of the Year".

One of the things Jamie is doing personally to practice sustainablity has been to stop using disposable plastic sandwich baggies for leftovers in favor of re-usable containers. She says she is trying to become more careful with her use of straws but that's a hard one for her! Jamie supports OMG because its initiatives are helping to protect our environment and take care of it for us, our children and grandchildren."
