Zohaib Ahmed is an Associate of Press, Dozier & Hamelburg, LLC. He is committed to providing legal representation to meet the individual needs of his clients. He represents clients in transactional and litigation matters with the objective to achieve clients’ desired goals in an efficient and cost-effective manner. As a business and litigation attorney, he understands the need to provide clients with a balanced approach, taking into account commercial considerations within the requirements of the law.
Mr. Ahmed has a depth of experience in business and real estate law, landlord/tenant issues, creditors’ rights, and collections, in addition to business litigation, arbitration, and mediation. He has drafted and reviewed loan agreements, both secured and unsecured, pertaining to personal loans, auto loans, student loans, mortgage loans, and home equity loans. He provides his clients with common sense advice and pragmatic representation.
Prior to joining PD&H, Mr. Ahmed was a litigation and business law associate with a law firm based in Rockville, Maryland, and he also worked as an attorney advisor for the Small Business Administration where he provided advice on transactional issues arising in loan agreements.
Mr. Ahmed received his LL.B. from the University of London and a post graduate diploma from City Law School, London. He practiced overseas as a barrister for seven years, focusing on commercial litigation and transactional matters for a broad array of clients. After moving to the U.S., he obtained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Maryland Law School.
